Putting carbon to work

Our mission is to accelerate the removal and long‑term sequestration of atmospheric carbon dioxide through innovative systems and technologies.

  • We partner with industry, municipalities, and rural, northern and Indigenous communities to deploy large-scale carbonization facilities that convert biomass and organic waste into high-value biocarbon products.

  • We develop specialized biocarbon products for sustainable agriculture, low carbon infrastructure, wastewater filtration, and environmental remediation across diverse industries and markets.

  • We make a difference by advancing carbon dioxide removal technologies that reduce emissions, divert waste, restore ecosystems, and support local employment and sustainable economic development.

  • We succeed through hard work and strategic planning, securing funding, advancing patented technologies, building expertise, protecting intellectual property, and assembling a strong, mission-driven team.

The Carbon Stops Here™

Plants remove tremendous amounts of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere, locking that carbon into biomass and organic waste. Carbon Lock Tech converts this material into stable and valuable biocarbon for long term sequestration.

Specialized Biocarbon

SoilChar™

Improves soil health, nutrient efficiency, and water retention while storing carbon durably in agricultural systems.

ConcreteChar™

Enhances concrete performance and durability while reducing embodied carbon in construction and infrastructure materials.

FilterChar™

When used as a filtration medium, biocarbon is able to adsorb contaminants, nutrients, and pollutants from water systems and industrial wastewater.

RemediChar™

This type of biocarbon can help stabilize soils and immobilize contaminants to support land restoration and environmental remediation projects.

LandfillChar™

Biocarbon produced from municipal organic waste reduces future methane emissions and can be used to help managed landfill odors, scavengers and liquid leachate.

BioBitumen™

We are currently working with RXN HUB to develop a bio-bitumen produce for use in sustainable asphalt

Questions and Answers

  • We address waste management and together by preventing biogenic carbon from returning to the atmosphere through decay or combustion.

  • We produce specialized forms of biocarbon with valuable applications in agriculture, construction, green infrastructure and mining and remediation.

  • Plants already capture carbon. When biomass decomposes or burns, that carbon is released again. We intercept that cycle and lock the carbon away permanently.

  • Biocarbon is used in soils, construction materials, environmental remediation, and other long‑lived applications that store carbon while delivering environemtnal benefits.

  • CDR credits are a new class of carbon credits can only be issued for solutions that remove and durably sequester atmospheric carbon for the long term.

  • We are currenlty planning the deployment of our patented reactor technology at a municipal landfill in partnership with private and community waste managers.
