NRC‑IRAP Project Funding
Carbon Lock Tech entered into a contribution agreement with the National Research Council of Canada through NRC‑IRAP to advance the commercial demonstration of its biomass‑to‑biocarbon reactor technology. The project supports engineering, installation, commissioning, and operational validation activities aimed at achieving high technology readiness, confirming product‑market fit, and quantifying climate benefits. The work focuses on converting mixed biomass and organic waste into stable biocarbon, generating revenue through tipping fees, biocarbon sales, and carbon dioxide removal credits while reducing landfill methane emissions and enabling scalable, market‑ready carbon removal infrastructure.
